The bio

Lift this verbatim.

Use it as-is for listings, programmes and previews.

Brooklyn Marie is an indie-pop singer-songwriter with a country flair from Alexandria, Minnesota. She performs at wineries, breweries, festivals, theaters, weddings and events across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest — moving easily between her own songs and the ones everyone in the room already knows.

A working singer-songwriter at heart, Brooklyn is at home playing two- to four-hour sets, performs with her own P.A. and audio engineer, and has a growing catalog of original music. But what people remember most isn’t simply how Brooklyn sounds — it’s how her music makes them feel.

Music you can feel. Brooklyn has a way of making a song personal. She connects with the people in front of her and delivers music with a sincerity and emotion that stays with you long after the last note.

That same spirit carries offstage. Brooklyn is warm, kind, grateful and humble — the kind of person who genuinely appreciates every person who listens, shows up, or gives her an opportunity to do what she loves.

When she isn’t performing, Brooklyn is a high school student in Alexandria who reads, swims, plays multiple instruments and spends plenty of time with her bunnies and chickens.

Logos

Official lockups.

Transparent PNGs, plus the vector master. Always place the supplied artwork — never recreate the logo with typed text, and use one lockup per composition. The logo can be re-colored to any approved color in the brand guide, as long as the whole lockup stays a single color.

Which lockup

With music is the primary lockup — first-touch identity, press, partners, merchandise and formal materials. Without music is the secondary lockup, for social content or layouts where the music context is already clear.

Logo essentials

  • Keep the guitar drawing, script lettering, spacing and proportions exactly as supplied.
  • The guitar outline stays disconnected from the final e in Marie; the i has a normal dot — never a heart.
  • Use near-black on light backgrounds or off-white on dark backgrounds. Keep the full logo one color.
  • Do not stretch, crop, redraw, outline, add shadows or place a gradient inside the logo.
  • Give the logo clear breathing room and keep busy photography or decoration away from it.

135° — larger fills and sweeps

Colour balance

  • Lead with off-white or warm paper, near-black type and one primary accent.
  • Use teal more often than pink when only one brand cue is needed.
  • Use pink for warmth and energy; do not make every surface pink.
  • Use royal blue and purple only as small, functional or occasional accents.

A four-font system.

Each typeface has one clear job. Keep the hierarchy simple and repeatable.

Brand character

Warm · Grounded · Expressive · Current · Human.

Youthful and playful, never childish. Polished and intentional, never corporate or over-produced.

Keep it consistent

  • Use one expressive typeface at a time; Manrope supports the message.
  • Give headlines, the official logo and photography enough breathing room.
  • Avoid generic scripts, novelty fonts, country cliches and over-decorated layouts.
  • Keep Bellaboo and Unica One to short, recognizable uses.
  • Let Brooklyn, the song, lyric, instrument or live moment lead the design.
