Who we are

This policy covers brooklynmariemusic.com and the Brooklyn Marie Music mailing and text-message lists ("the Inner Circle"). Questions go to bookings@brooklynmariemusic.com.

What we collect

When you join the Inner Circle we collect the name, email address and/or mobile phone number you enter, and the date and time you joined.

When you buy something we collect your shipping address and order details. Card payments are processed by Stripe and we never see or store your full card number.

We keep basic, aggregate visit counts for the site. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use it

To send you the updates you asked for — new song releases, announcements, and new site links.

To fulfil and support orders you place.

To answer messages you send us.

Text messages (SMS/MMS)

Joining with your mobile number opts you in to recurring marketing text messages from Brooklyn Marie Music. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Message frequency varies per month. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will get one confirmation and nothing after that. Reply HELP for help, or email us at the address above.

We do not sell, rent, trade or share your mobile number, or the fact that you opted in, with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts, and only so the message can be sent.

Mobile opt-in data and consent records are never shared with third parties for marketing.

Who else sees your information

Service providers who make the site work, acting only on our instructions: our hosting provider, our email provider, our text-message provider, and Stripe for payments.

Nobody else, unless the law requires it.

Age

The Inner Circle is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian's permission before joining.

If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

Unsubscribe from email using the link in any email. Opt out of texts by replying STOP.

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email bookings@brooklynmariemusic.com and we will take care of it.

Keeping it

We keep your details for as long as you are on the list, and order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting. Opt-out records are kept so we can honour your choice.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
